“ After hearing about Pauline’s concept, we were excited to give it a try. (It’s a very similar concept of Babe’s in the DFW area, if you’re familiar with their restaurants.) We really enjoyed our experience. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. We decided to try both the fried chicken strips and the fried chicken. Little Flip Out had the kids fried chicken strips. As a family style serving, you get biscuits, green beans, salad with the ranch dressing mixed in, mashed potatoes and gravy, and they are unlimited sides. We really enjoyed the biscuits, and thought they had good flavor and texture. Mrs. Flip Out liked the green beans. We all liked the salad, even Little Flip Out. What really stood out to us was the gravy. It was delicious! We thought the chicken was great; our order had perfectly fried chicken and chicken strips. They offer a long list of sauces, and I ordered most of them to try, and each one paired nicely with the chicken. We definitely look forward to going again! ”
“ Cute atmosphere, friendly service, and the food was very good. Shout out to Tiarra F. she went out of her way to make sure you had everything you needed. Onion rings are must order when you give this restaurant a try. ”
“ Great food! We went for lunch and I’m eager to return for their family style dinners! The spicy Cajun chicken tenders were good. They tasted like Tajin more than Cajun really, but still tasty! Prices are good as well. ”
“ Great food and great service! It is a must-try in Yukon! The family style dinners come with endless salad and biscuits (yeast biscuits I think), with apple butter packed with notes of cinnamon and cloves. I got fried chicken, but honestly it was hard to choose. You get two sides with your entree, and I went old school with mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans. Don’t be expecting ham hock and bacon grease in your green beans. I like that version too, but these were perfectly cooked with onions and seasoning. Yum! The meal was BIG! You get a lot for your money, especially in these hard times. Don’t neglect the dessert though. It is worth the extra full feeling you will get! I tried two to go - Buttermilk and the Derby Pies! Mouth-watering deliciousness! I WILL be back with all my friends, and I’m wearing looser pants next time! ”
“ The service is excellent. The food is even better. They have a wonderful attentive staff that is good about knowing when to check on you and when to let you eat. The bar is nice, and they offer outside seating for those nicer nights. It is becoming a regular place for me to eat, and you can find a good home style meal every time. ”
“ Great food and service. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. Our server Alexis was great and fast. The food came out very quickly and hot. Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts and the cheesey corn. We will definitely be back! ”
“ First experience there and went for mother's day. They open at 10am Sunday and we were there about 10:45. The breakfast menu was limited but was good. The southern style family menu is what I would recommend. Portion size was good. Rolls were all you can eat served with butter and apple butter. Overall a very good experience. It is owned by the Haynes family so the food consistancy is very good. ”
“ You better be hungry, but this was delicious! New place, serving some good chicken, fried or smoked. You get a half of a chicken and a side, I had Fried Okra and my wife got Mac n Cheese. What we didn't realize is it came with endless salad and homemade rolls!!! Apple butter and butter for the rolls. Apple butter was delicious. Salad and rolls are delicious too. I'm posting the menu too. My wife got the Lavender Lemonade and she was impressed! Very delicious and refreshing! We recommend at least a try!!! You will not be disappointed! ”
